Hummus
Ingredients for 2 hungry people
- 250g cooked chickpeas (net weight)
- 40g tahini
- 3g garlic
- 20g extra virgin olive oil
- 5g salt
- 5g lemon peel (half a lemon)
- 10g lemon jucice (half a lemon)
- 5g spicy paprika powder
- 30g lukewarm water
- (Optional) cook the chickpeas, if they are not canned pre-cooked;
- Add the chickpeas, the tahini, the olive oil, salt, lemon juice, and
paprika powder in a blender;
- Smash the garlic clove with a garlic press and grate the lemon peel very
finely on top;
- Blend the ingredients together, adding water to taste until it looks
like a creamy paste.
- Serve fresh with some olive oil on top.
