- Peel and dice the apples, add some lemon juice to prevent oxydation (turning brown);
- Heat up butter in a casserole or pan;
- Lightly brown the apple, then add the brandy;
- Add honey and nutmeg, serve warm.
Tip: even though this is a sweet side it can be matched with many meats, especially wild ones.
Goes along marmelades and compotes.
